Wow. I was so impressed by Melissa Silva, the student journalist who interviewed me for this piece. She had read the book, and had lots of smart questions.
She made me think, especially about what I wanted readers to take away from the book. And I realized, more than anything, I want readers to come away from the book having enjoyed reading it. If that’s the case, they will also have learned a thing or two about a world few know about.
